About

Haley Polinsky is an experienced food stylist and recipe developer based in Toronto. Haley is well-known for her creative approach and attention to detail. She has worked with numerous brands on commercial and editorial work. She has also done international work for the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in Sicily and the PT Ranch in California.

Haley graduated from the Pacific Institute of the Culinary Arts in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2009. She worked in several professionally acclaimed kitchens including Bar Isabel, Bar Raval and Grand Electric. She held a three-month chef residency at Restaurant Numero 7 in Morocco, as well as co-operated The Galette Girls, which hosted successful pop-up restaurants in Toronto, Milan and Rome. Haley studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design and Emily Carr University, and also works as a freelance illustrator in a variety of mediums such as watercolour, ink and relief printmaking.  

In 2014, Haley transitioned into the food styling/photography industry as a way to combine her love of food with her passion for art and design. With Haley’s unique background of both cooking and art, she brings a strong eye for composition, quick problem solving and creativity to all jobs.

Haley is available for food styling, recipe testing and development and illustration. She loves working with new clients working to create perfect food images, developing delicious eye catching recipes or unique illustrations. She can be reached at email or phone.
